Sammie Oliver ( 10-10-10) services 10-13-10

Sammie Oliver, 77, of Saltillo, died Oct. 10, in Parsons, Tenn.

He was born in Decatur County, son of the late William Thomas and Dellar Western Oliver. He was united in marriage to Norma Jean Oliver, who survives.

Mr. Oliver was a truck driver for Creasy Hardwoods.

Services were held Wednesday, Oct. 13, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill with Lloyd Blankenship and Roy Wyatt officiating. Burial was in Corinth Methodist Cemetery.

In addition to his wife, Norma of Saltillo, he is survived by six sons, Sammy of Lebanon, Ore., Roy, Darryl, Jerry and Thomas Oliver, all of Beech Bluff, and Roy Flatt of Bath Springs; two daughters, Debbie Westerman of Scotts Hill and Cindy Swinford of Beech Bluff; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
