Charles E. “John” Webb, 72, of Adamsville, died Wednesday, Oct. 6.
He was born in Hardin County, Tenn., the son of the late Everett and Daisy Mae Counce Webb. He was united in marriage to Diane Marie Zarle, who survives.
Mr. Webb worked in maintenance and with heavy equipment for Shiloh National Military Park for 28 years. He was a member of the Savannah Moose Lodge and the VFW.
Services were held on Sunday, Oct. 10, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Mike Zarle and Mike Hunter officiating. Burial was in the Pisgah Cemetery at Shiloh.
In addition to his wife, Diane, he is survived by three sisters, Louise Milender of Savannah, Daisy Vanderford and June Hunter both of Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Spencer; and three brothers, Freddie, Bobby, and Henry Webb.
