Loyce Johnson Bridges, 94, of Milledgeville, died Sunday, Oct. 3.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Lilburn H. and Lydia Helen Hanna Johnson. She was united in marriage to L.C. Bridges, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Bridges was a school teacher for 32 years. She was the oldest member of Milledgeville Methodist Church.
Services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 6, at Milledgeville United Methodist Church in Milledgeville with Roger Henson, Phil Bridges officiating. Burial was in the Milledgeville Cemetery at Milledgeville.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Smith of Selmer; a granddaughter; two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Raye Johnson Holland.
