Peggy Smith (9-5-10) services 9-9-10

Peggy Joyce Smith, 62, of Florence, Ala., died Sunday, Sept. 5, in Florence, Ala.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of Virginia Vinnie Murphy Smith and the late Edgar Smith. She was united in marriage to Allen Loyd Smith, who survives.

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker.

Private services will be held today, Thursday, Sept. 9, at Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Wayne County, Tennessee. Burial will be in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery at Wayne County.

In addition to her husband, Allen of Adamsville, she is survived by one son, Bobby Wayne Nance of Florence, Ala.; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild; her mother, Virginia Smith of Savannah; four sisters, Norma Sue Smith of Selmer, and Betty Oakley, Helen DeShazier and Dorothy May White, all of Savannah.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Louise DeShazier.
