Maxine Coln (8-30-10) services 9-1-10

Hazel Maxine Coln, 86, of Corinth, Miss., formerly of Savannah, died Monday, Aug. 30, at Mississippi Care Center.

She was born in Booneville, Miss. She was united in marriage to Henry Tidwell, who preceded her in death. She later married Carl F. Coln, who survives.

Mrs. Coln was retired from Jockey Garment Factory and was also an associate of Whitfield Nursing Home. She was a member of North Corinth Church of Christ.

Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 1, at McPeters Chapel with Lance Foster and Elmo Wilson officiating. Burial was in Forrest Memorial Park.

In addition to her husband, Carl, she is survived by one daughter, Vonda Sjoland; four step-children, Sandra Brawner, Ann Smith, David Coln, all of Corinth, Miss., and Theressa Howie of Iuka, Miss.; two grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Tidwell; a sister, Faye Clark; and a granddaughter.
