Carl Cummins (9-3-10)
Carl Cummins Carl Edward Cummins, 86, of Savannah, died Friday, Sept. 3, in Jackson, Tenn. He was born in Wayne County, the son of the late Lincoln and Ellen Blalock Cummins. He was united in marriage to Ethel I. Martin, who survives. Mr. Cummins was a machinist for 10 years for TVA. No services were held. In addition to his wife Ethel I. (Martin) Cummins of Savannah, he is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Bain of Savannah; two sons, Randy and Ronnie Cummins, both of Savannah; five brothers, Obie, Marshall, Lester, David and James Cummins, all of Collinwood; four sisters, Ruth Ellen Mays, Linda Johnson, Ruby Martin, Mildred Burns, all of Collinwood; seven grandchildren, and several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
