Max Jarrett Max Jarrett, 89, of Flagstaff, Ariz., died on Thursday, Aug. 12, in his home surrounded by family. He was born in Morris Chapel. Mr. Jarrett served his country during WWII in the Pacific theatre. He moved to Flagstaff in 1962 where he taught math at both junior high schools and also sold real estate. Services were held on Monday Aug. 16, at Norvel Owens Mortuary. He is survived by his children Max Jr. of Willcox, Ariz. and Carolyn Jarrett of Flagstaff, Ariz., three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Florene; parents Ben and Meda, brothers Leon, Johnny and Ben Jr. Condolence can be left for the family at www.norvelowensmortuary.com.
