Melanie Sharp She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late Andrew Boyd and Lillie Bell Ward Price. Ms. Sharp was a homemaker. Services were held on Friday, July 23, at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Savannah with David W. Lee, Danny Hicks officiating. Burial was in the Neill Cemetery at Savannah. Ms. Sharp is survived by two daughters, Chadra Sharp and Maggie Sharp, both of Savannah; one step-daughter, Joanna Pegg of Michie; and one step-son, Donald Sharp II of Milan, Tenn.; three step-grandchildren; six half-sisters, Jo Middleton of Benton Harbor, Mich., Ann Noles of Augusta, Mich., Lou Vandereer of Wichita, Kan., Joyce Kilburn, Daisey Doyle and Judy Hamilton of Savannah; one half-brother, Grady Price of Savannah; and her former husband, Donald Sharp of Savannah. She was also preceded in death by one son, James Andrew "Jamie" Sharp; one sister, Mickey Petty; three half-sisters, Rebecca Price, Patty Tanner and Murial Archer; and one half-brother, Buford Price.
Melanie Dawn Sharp, 38, of Savannah, died Monday, July 19, in Savannah.
