Eldon Doyle (7-15-10) services 7-18-10

Eldon B. Doyle, 58, of Adamsville, died Thursday, July 15, in Savannah.

He was born in Caruthersville, Mo., the son of W.B. and Carrie B. Smith Doyle. He was united in marriage to Janice Dickey, who survives.

Mr. Doyle was a mussel shell diver and buyer. He was a member of Church on the Rock.

Services were held on Sunday, July 18, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with David W. Lee, Larry Paul Rich officiating. Burial was in the Old Union Cemetery at Hardin County.

In addition to his wife, Janice of Adamsville, he is survived by two sons, Eldon Dewayne and Jeremy V. Doyle, both of Adamsville; one grandson; his parents, W. B. and Carrie B. Doyle; eight sisters, Madgie Lee, Patsy Myer, Cathy Torres, Becky Lee, Annette Finley, Brenda Parrat, Sherry Hopper and Terrie Parrat; three brothers, Jackie, Elvis and Lloyd Doyle.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Doyle.
