Bobby Buckles

Robert Lee “Bobby” Buckles, 73, of Rienzi, Miss., formerly of Hardin County, died Saturday, July 10, in Corinth, Miss.

He was born in South Carolina, the son of the late Alex Bradford and Ruth Bodiford Buckles. He was united in marriage to Jane Terry, who survives.

Mr. Buckles was a machine operator for 40 years at King Mfg. in Corinth, Miss. He was a member of the Greater Life United Pentecostal Church in Corinth.

Services were held on Monday, July 12, at Greater Life United Pentecostal Church in Corinth, Miss., with Don Clenny, Jimmy Tyrone, Mike Brown, Rev. Roy Joshlin, William Lambert officiating. Burial was in the Forest Memorial Park at Corinth.

In addition to his wife, Jane “Terry” Buckles of Rienzi, Miss., he is survived by two daughters, Barbara Hearn and Becky Wren, both of Rienzi; a son, Wayne Buckles of Burnsville, Miss.; a sister, Lillie Coons of Florence, Ala.; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren,

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sadie Starks.
