Billy Roach

Billy Roach, 78, of Savannah, died Wednesday, June 16.

He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Lucian and Mildred Eaves Roach. He was united in marriage to Annie Lou Hargrove, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Roach retired from Hassell Lumber Company and was a Army Veteran. He attended Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah.

Services were held on Saturday, June 19, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Duwayne Pounds officiating. Burial was in the Neill Cemetery at Savannah.

He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Sellers of Lexington, Tenn., Linda Holman of Texas; four grandchildren; four sisters, Dorothy Matties of North Carolina, Patsy Fishe of Florida, Rebecca Patterson of Clarksville, Tenn., Nancy Halsey of Indiana; a brother, Tony Roach of North Carolina.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Elaine Rothwell and Bertie Gean Higdon; two brothers, Lucian Roach Jr. and Jimmy Roach.
