Samuel Lavka (6-2-10) services 6-6-10

Samuel C. Lavka, age 6, of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., passed away on Wednesday, June 2, at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital after a sudden illness.

He was a native of Lawrence County, a student at Ingram Sowell Elementary school. He loved his family, super heroes, Lego’s, and to laugh and play.

Funeral services were held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Sunday, June 6, at 2 p.m. with Elijah Collard officiating. Burial was in Loretto Memorial Gardens.

Survivors are his parents, Terry and Samantha Dupree Lavka of Lawrenceburg; brother and sister, Ryan and Kendal JoLynn of Lawrenceburg; paternal grandparents, Dessire Hennen of Savannah; maternal grandparents, Tammy Dupree Peters of Loretto, Tenn., Lonnie Dupree and wife Marney of Westpoint, Tenn.; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
