Raymond Terry

Raymond Terry, of Counce, was born in Memphis, on July 12, 1943, the son of the late James W. and Lena Rogers Terry.

On Dec. 23, 1964, he was united in marriage to Amy Jordan, who survives.

Mr. Terry was self-employed at Fabcare, Inc. of Pickwick Dam. He was a member of Counce Baptist Church.

Mr. Terry departed this life on June 3, at his residence in Counce, at the age of 66 years, 10 month and 22 days.

In addition to his wife, Amy of Counce, he is survived by one daughter, Tammy Carroll and her husband Larry of Selmer; two grandchildren, Josh Carroll and Hannah Carroll; two sisters, Beverly Pence of Cotter, Ark. and Betty Litton of Arlington, Tenn.; one brother, Larry Terry of Somerville, Tenn.; one sister-in-law, Eloise Terry of Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Raymond Eugene Terry Jr.; and one brother, Dr. James Terry.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, June 5, at 5 p.m., at Mr. Terry’s residence at 65 Dunhill Court in Counce.
