Jimmy Underwood (5-24-10) services 5-29-10

Jimmy Underwood, 45, of Savannah, died Monday, May 24, in Savannah.

He was born in Tennessee, the son of the late John and Lenoris Garner Underwood.

Mr. Underwood lived in Savannah since 2005 and lived in Star City, Ark. earlier. He was a rice field worker for Neal Jones in Arkansas. He was a member of Amazing Life Church in Savannah.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 29, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Marvin Norris officiating. Burial will follow in the Neill Cemetery at Savannah.

He is survived by four sisters, Sheila Thomas of Savannah, Judy Mustachia of Oklahoma, Regina Wheeler of Alton, Ill. and Lynda Adrian of Mustang, Okla.; three brothers, Kenneth Thomas of Marmaduke, Okla., Pete Thomas of Arizona and Richard Thomas of Montpelier, Ohio.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Teddy Thomas; and six brothers, Virgil, Jerry, Bobbie, George, Johnny and Robert Thomas.
