Martha Brown Martha Dee Brown, 85, of Sardis, died Monday, May 10, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. She was born in Chester County, Tenn., the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Curly Dee Smith Morris. She was united in marriage to Clifford Howell Brown, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Brown retired after 30 years as a machine operator for HIS Sportswear. She was a member of Saltillo Church of Christ. Services were held on Thursday, May 13, at Saltillo Church Of Christ in Saltillo with Clint Hopper officiating. Burial was in the Milledgeville Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Jim Brown of Saltillo and Joe L. Brown of Morris Chapel; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Susie Skellion; and four brothers, Dewey, Frank, Enloe and Bascom Morris.
