Carol Aday

Carol Denise Peeler Aday, 44, of Savannah, died Sunday, May 16, in Savannah.

She was born in Jackson, Miss., the daughter of Mildred McAlister Umphrey and the late Clyde Currie Peeler. She was united in marriage to Ritchie Aday, who survives.

Mrs. Aday had worked for Hardee’s in Iuka, Miss. and had worked as a CNA for Tishomingo Manor in Iuka, Miss.

Services were held on Tuesday, May 18, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with J.P. Gillis officiating. Burial was in the Neill Cemetery at Savannah.

In addition to her husband, Ritchie of Iuka, Miss., she is survived by one son, Christopher Lynn Snodgrass of Iuka, Miss.; two grandchildren; her mother, Mildred McAlister Umphrey and her stepfather, Coley Umphrey, both of Savannah; one sister, Cathy Frank of Savannah; two brothers, Scott Peeler of Savannah and Billy Broom of Selmer.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Kevin Dewayne Snodgrass; and one brother, Steve Broom.
