Roger Leitschuh

Roger Curtis Leitschuh, 75, of Adamsville, died Friday, April 16, in Adamsville.

He was born in Mt. Pleasant, Miss., to the late Alford Willis and Ethel Estelle Pierce Leitschuh. He was united in marriage to Martha Sauls, who survives.

Mr. Leitschuh was the founder and stockholder of L&L Mechanical Contractors, Inc. and an engineer with Aqua Glass Corporation in Adamsville. He was a member of Adamsville First United Methodist Church. In his younger years he was involved with the Masons, Tennessee Jaycees, and various Democrat candidate campaigns.

Memorial services were held Sunday, April 18, at Adamsville First United Church with Russell Gallimore, Steve Callicoat officiating.

In addition to his wife, Martha Leitschuh of Adamsville, he is survived by three daughters, Beth Thompson of Adamsville, Maia Broyles of Saulsbury, Tenn., Lori Shelton of Adamsvilie; a son, Roger (Chip) Leitschuh Jr. of Magnolia, Texas; three sisters, Rena Wilburn of Michigan City, Miss., Martha Leitschuh Stewart of Franklin, Tenn., Edith Leitschuh of Memphis; two brothers, Willis Leitschuh of Crump, Jerry Leitschuh of Bolivar, Tenn.; ten grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Travis, Leon and Dickey Leitschuh.
