Raymond Blackstock (4-15-10) services 4-17-10

Raymond "Rooster" Blackstock, 76, of Sardis, died April 15.

He was born in Enville, the son of the late Arie Blackstock. He was united in marriage to Jean Blackstock, who survives.

Mr. Blackstock was a retired farmer.

Services were held on Saturday, April 17, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Gus Howerton, Lloyd Blankenship officiating. Burial was in the Milledgeville Cemetery.

In addition to his wife, Jean, he is survived by a son, Larry Blackstock of Enville; a sister, Wanda Ellis of Sardis; two grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
