Virginia Lanter Bullock, age 85, of Lexington died Friday March 12, in Savannah.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. She was born May 26, 1924 in Belleville, Ill., to the late Elmer and Elizabeth Bertelsman.
Survivors include two daughters, Dr. Michelle Lanter Brewer of Knoxville and Jean (William) McAdams of Savannah, a son Dr. James (Brigitte) Lanter of Jackson; two sisters, Aurelia Biehl and LaVerna Dahlman of Belleville,Ill.; seven grandchildren, Lauren McAdams Balantine, Abby McAdams, Chelyncia Brewer Schoonmaker,Wesley Brewer,Kathryn Lanter, Stephanie Paige Lanter, and Victoria Lanter, and two great-grandchildren, Ian and Riley Schoonmaker.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Kenneth Francis Lanter and T. Clifford Bullock; and a sister Leoba Roach.
Funeral Mass was Sunday, March 14, at 5 p.m., at St. Andrew Catholic in Lexington with burial following on Monday at Green Mount Cemetery in Belleville,Ill.
