Stanley Franks (3-10-10) services 3-13-10

Stanley Wade Franks of Savannah was born in Hardin County on Nov. 3, 1963, the son of Tommy Jack Franks and Rheba Nell Franks.

Mr. Franks worked for Brown Shoe Company for six years. He was a huge Tennessee Football Fan, enjoyed riding around the countryside, loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Mr. Franks departed this life on Wednesday, March 10, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tenn. at the age of 46 years, 4 months and 7 days.

Other than his parents, Tommy Jack and Rheba Nell Franks of Savannah, he is survived by one sister, Mary Ellen Franks Stanley of Adamsville; and two brothers, Tony D. Franks and Dennis William Franks, both of Savannah; his nieces and nephews Trent Woody, Samantha Woody, Chasity Franks, Patience Smith, Blake Franks and Sarah Franks.

Mr. Franks was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jamie and Willie Franks and Clarence Franks and Flora Franks Young.

Services were held on Saturday, March 13, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Artie Rivers officiating. Burial was in the Franks Cemetery at Hardin County, Tenn.
