Robert Bain

Robert Gene Bain, 82, of Savannah, died Friday, March 12, in Savannah.

He was born in Savannah, the son of Gladys Rich Bain and the late Walker N. Bain. He was united in marriage to Myrtle Lois Hamm, who survives.

Mr. Bain worked for Parris Manufacturing Company and he was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.

Services were held on Sunday, March 14, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Artie Rivers officiating. Burial was in the Mount Hermon Cemetery at Hardin County.

In addition to his wife, Myrtle of Savannah, he is survived by one daughter, Rebecca L. Bain of Savannah; and one son, Ronald G. Bain of Savannah; one grandchild; his mother, Gladys Bain of Savannah; one brother, Howard C. Bain of Savannah.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy N. Bain.
