Sonny Hill

Lester “Sonny” Hill, 62, of Savannah, died Friday, Feb. 19.

He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late James Olivine and Elsie Brown Hill. He was united in marriage to Kaye Fullwood, who survives.

Services were held on Sunday, Feb. 21, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Dennis Moffett officiating. Burial was in the Sunny Hill Cemetery at Hardin County.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Teresa Qualls and Tammy White, both of Savannah; six sisters, Esther Holt, Polly Koch, Martha McCasland, Betty Lois Davidson, Joann Hunt, Ruby Gammill, all of Savannah; a grandchild; three half-brothers, Freeman Franks, Jessie Franks, both of Savannah, and O.V. Hill of Sydney, Ohio.

He was also preceded in death by two infant sons; and a brother, Robert Hill.
