Anita McQuaid (2-13-10) services 2-16-10

Anita McQuaid, 72, of Crump, died Saturday, Feb. 13, in Savannah.

She was born in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Hardee Adell and Thelma Moore Walker. She was united in marriage to Lewis McQuaid, who survives.

Mrs. McQuaid was a member of the Mansfield Baptist Church in Mansfield, Tenn.

Services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Eric Jones officiating. Burial was in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at Goodlettsville, Tenn.

In addition to her husband Lewis McQuaid of Crump, she is survived by one son, Alan McQuaid of Crump; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Willodean Hardin of Medina, Tenn., Brenda Stewart of Newbern, Tenn., and Kay Volekel of Sandwich, Ill.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Roy Walker.
