Sid Scott (2-7-10) services 2-9-10

Jeffie Bell "Sid" Scott, 87, of Savannah, died Sunday, Feb. 7.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late John and Bell Hunt Smith. She was united in marriage to Thomas Scott, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Scott was a housewife and a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.

Services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Hopewell Baptist Church in Savannah with Paul David Scott, Rev. Randy Isbell officiating. Burial was in the Graham Cemetery at Savannah.

She is survived by four daughters, Margaret Thompson of Clifton, Joyce Wright and Gail Scott, both of Savannah, Sherry Wardlow of Counce; two sons, David of Savannah and Ray Scott of Counce; two sisters, Emma Todd and Robbie Frazier of Savannah; two brothers, Ted Smith of Savannah and Caral Smith of Martin, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Scott; three sisters, Mary Francis Smith, Grace Crotts, and Sue Pipes; four brothers, JC Smith, David Smith, and two infant brothers; and a grandson.
