Marie Duncan (2-3-10) services 2-5-10

Marie Maxine Duncan, 79, of Adamsville, died Wednesday, Feb. 3.

She was born in Crittenden County, Ark., the daughter of the late Jesse James and Clara Gladys Ray Shea. She was united in marriage to Harry Gird Duncan Sr. , who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Duncan retired from Aqua Glass were she worked as a repair technician for 20 years. She had attended River Heights Foursquare Church.

Services were held on Friday, Feb. 5, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Robert House officiating. Burial was in the Crump Cemetery at Hardin County.

She is survived by three sons, Larry S. Duncan of Union City, Tenn., Harry Duncan Jr., and Tommy Duncan, both of Adamsville; two daughters, Janice Plunk and Ann Dixon of Adamsville; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Billy, Buddy and David Shea; a sister, Georgie Shea; and a grandchild.
