Doris Ray Doris M. Ray, 79, of Bowling Green, Ky., formerly of Adamsville, died Sunday, Feb. 7, at Morningside Assisted Living, Bowling Green, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Hollis and Mamie Lipe. She was united in marriage to John Ray, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Ray was a homemaker. Services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Adamsville Cemetery with Jimmy Kelley officiating. Arrangements by Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer. She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Breymaier of Bowling Green, Ky. and Sue Grunwald of Brentwood, Tenn.; a son, John Ray Jr. of Indian Creek, Ill.; two sisters, Susie Twitchell of Madison, Wis. and Lenore Crowell of Carbondale, Ill.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Norris Lipe; and two sisters, Betty Lipe and Midge Palfalvy.
