Artis Glen Harris, 94, of Adamsville, died Saturday, Jan. 9, at his home.
He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late Ocie Bedford Harris and Leatha Jewel Newell Harris. He was united in marriage to Oval Benita Dallas, who preceded him in death.
Before retiring, Mr. Harris worked as a truckstop attendant in Selmer and as a farmer. He was of Methodist belief.
Services were held on Monday, Jan. 11, at Shackelford Funeral Home in Adamsville with Greg Brasher officiating. Burial was in the Mud Creek Cemetery at Adamsville.
He is survived by one daughter, Claytie Pounds of Adamsville; one son, Max Harris of Adamsville; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Glen H. Harris; and one sister, Claytie Bradford.
