85 Belmont Street, operates a thrift store to help supply food for needy children on weekends. It is open Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m.-noon. From East Main, turn north on Belmont then right just past Second Baptist Church. From Wayne Road, turn south on Belmont and left just past Savannah Cleaners. MS Support group at May Rose Apts.
MS Support group
, associated with the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, will meet the second Tuesday of each month, at 6 p.m., at May Rose Place Apartment’s community center. The meeting is designed for patients only, as a place to hear and be heard by other patients. Refreshments will be served. For more information call Chana Burns at 925-3503.
