Earl Wayne Tacker Sr., 68, of Selmer, died Friday, Feb. 10, in Selmer.

He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late Johnny and Delia Stanford Tacker.

Mr. Tacker worked at Brown Shoe Company as an inspector. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean conflict.

Services were held on Monday, Feb. 13, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville in with Chuck Castles officiating. Burial followed in the Mars Hill Cemetery at Adamsville.

He is survived by two daughters, Carol Baker of Morris Chapel, Sondra Lambert of Adamsville; a son, Earl Tacker Jr. of Stantonville; a sister, Diane Jones of Leapwood; a brother, Eugene Tacker of Stantonville; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
