Bobby Wayne "B.W." Williams Bobby Wayne "B.W." Williams was born in Bells, Tenn., on July 23, 1929, the son of the late Asa Clifton and Gladys Viola Richards Williams. On Dec. 26, 1954, he was united in marriage to Barbara Spellings, who survives. Mr. Williams was owner of B.W. Williams Certified Public Accountant. He was a United States Navy Veteran. Mr. Williams was founding member of First Federal Savings and Loan currently Central Bank in Savannah. Mr. Williams was a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and member of Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Williams was a member of First Baptist Church in Counce, where he was former chairman of the Sanctuary Building Committee. He was also former chairman for the Sanctuary Building Committee for Hopewell Baptist Church. Mr. Williams was also a member of the Gideon Society. Mr. Williams loved to play golf and cards, he loved sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others and leading them to Salvation. Mr. Williams departed this life on Tuesday, Jan. 17, in Savannah, at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 25 days. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Barbara of Savannah; two sons, Richard Williams and wife Cindy of Southaven, Miss. and Bruce Williams and wife Lee Ann of Savannah; four grandchildren, Bruce, Jr., Steven, Olivia and Meredith Williams; one sister, Margaret Parham of Raleigh, N.C. Services were held on Friday, Jan. 20, at 11 a.m., at Hopewell Baptist Church in Savannah with Dr. Ken Story, Rev. George Weaver, and Rev. Jimmie McChristial officiating. Burial followed in the Savannah Cemetery at Savannah. Â
