Virginia Witt Baldwin, 87, of Adamsville, died Saturday, Oct. 30, after a brief illness at Hardin Medical Center, Savannah.

She was born in Ponatoc County, Miss., daughter of the late Tom and Maggie Marshall Witt. She was united in marriage to William Roy Baldwin, who preceded her in death.

Services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Indian Creek Cemetery in Ramer, Tenn.

She is survived by three step-children, I.B. Baldwin and Edison Lee "Jack" Baldwin, both of Pocahontas, Tenn., and Treva Heath of Memphis.

She was also preceded in death by three step-children, Geanette Brown, Marie Grimes and Corene Mills.
