Robert Howell McCool, 85, of Iuka, Miss., formerly of Adamsville, died Tuesday, July 6, in Adamsville.

He was born in Mississippi, the son of the late Robert and Halley Jo McCool.

Mr. McCool served in the Navy during WWII.

No services were held.

He is survived by a daughter, Roberta Ann Chapel of Augusta, Ga.; a son, Robert McCool Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, Miss.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
