Bobbie Baugus

Bobbie Dean Staggs Baugus, 74, of Savannah, died Sunday, April 25.

She was born in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Cecil E. and Lizzie Ellen McDonald Staggs. She was united in marriage to Jimmie Raymond Baugus, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Baugus was a homemaker and a member of the Cross Roads Union Church.

Services were held on Tuesday, April 27, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Grant Pavy, Scott Melson officiating. Burial was in the Mt. View Cemetery at Hardin County.

She is survived by four daughters, Debra Davis Hubbard, Tina R. Melson, and Melessa G. Mitchell, all of Savannah; a son, J. Shannon Baugus of Collinwood, Tenn.; a stepson, Jerry Baugus of Waynesboro; a stepdaughter, Gail Edwards of Waynesboro; seven sisters, Dorothy (Sue) Potete of Savannah, Willene Orton of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Patricia Smith, Joan Skelton, Charlene Overton, Sharon Borden and Carol Ricketts, all of Waynesboro; a brother, Jeff Staggs of Collinwood; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ettie Mae Slaton; and a brother, Joe Staggs.
