Max "Doc" Owen, 75, of Clifton, died Saturday, March 27, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn.

He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Bob and Ethel Oakley Owen.

Mr. Owen was a United States Army Veteran and he was a river boat deckhand. He had worked for several years on an oil rig.

Mr. Owen is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
