Ruie Sue Bachuss Talley, 79, of Adamsville, died Sunday, Jan. 3, at Hardin Medical Center.

She was born in Paragould, Ark., the daughter of the late Clarence and Madgi Stutts Bachuss. She was united in marriage to Arch Talley, who preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 2010.

Mrs. Talley was a cook at Tri-County Convalescent Home and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Adamsville.

Services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 7, at 2 p.m., at Southside Baptist Church in Savannah.

Mrs. Talley is survived by two daughters, Joanie Weirich of Savannah and Lesa Smith of Adamsville; four sons, Ander and Tommy Talley, both of Adamsville, Stevie of Collinwood, Dewayne Talley of Savannah; a sister, Lucille Bachuss of Arkansas; 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Sue Talley; a son, Arch Talley Jr.; several brothers and sisters.
