Jessie Rinks Jessie Mae McCullough Rinks, 98, of Morris Chapel, died Saturday, Nov. 28, at the Bright Glade Convalescent Center in Memphis. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of James Alec McCullough and Mattie Mae Pugh McCullough. She was united in marriage to Clarence Elishia Rinks, who preceded her death. Mrs. Rinks was a homemaker and farmer’s wife. She retired from the Hardin County Head Start Program in 1981. She was a long time member of the Milledgeville Pentecostal Church in Milledgeville. Services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jimmy Kelly officiating. Burial was in the Morris Chapel Cemetery at Morris Chapel. She is survived by children: Joe Neal Rinks of Pickwick Dam and Peggy Robinson of Memphis; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Margaret Tackett of Selmer; one sister, Zora Lee McCullough; and two brothers, James Garvin McCullough and Robert Garland McCullough.
