James Roy Martin, 75, of Counce, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, at the North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, Miss.

He was born in Corinth, Miss., the son of the late Earskin and Bertha Morgan Martin. He was united in marriage to Helen Lovell, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Martin was a used car wholesaler. He was a member of the Shriners Club.

Services was held on Saturday, Nov. 28, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Keith Driskell, Rodney Whittimore officiating.

Mr. Martin is survived by two daughters, Lisa Minga and Tammy Milner, both of Counce; one son, David Martin of Chicago, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Martin of Independence, Miss.

He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Kathy Dowdle and Linda Gail Martin; and two sons, Bobby and Buddy Martin.
