Mary Lucille White, 80, of Hardin County, died Monday, Nov. 23.

She was born in Ripley, Miss., the daughter of the late Milton and Katie Mae McCowen Roberson. She was united in marriage to R.E. White Sr., who preceded her in death.

Mrs. White was a bookkeeper for Hardin County High School, and a member of Ripley’s Chapel Church.

Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 28, at Saltillo Church Of Christ in Saltillo, with Larry White officiating. Burial will follow in the Ripley City Cemetery at Ripley, Miss.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon George of Seattle, Wash. and Angela Brawley of Eureka, Mo.; three sons, Sonny White of Saltillo, Larry White and Orville White both of Springfield, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Natlie Roberson Huddleston; and one grandchild.
