Donnie Ray Hammack, 49, of Waynesboro, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, in Waynesboro.

He was born in Waynesboro, the son of Troy Franklin Hammack and the late Grace Keeton Hodge. He was united in marriage to Wileda Overton, who survives.

Donnie was a machine operator at Genesco and a member of the Green River Tabernacle in Waynesboro.

Services were held on Thursday, Nov. 19, at Green River Tabernacle, Waynesboro, with Billy Wright and Larry Janes officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro. Arrangements by Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County.

In addition to his wife, Wileda Hammack of Waynesboro, he is survived by his father, Troy Hammack; a daughter, Alecia Kaye Hammack of Nashville; a son, Donnie Ray Hammack Jr. of Nashville; and five sisters, Wanda Smith of Burns, Tenn., Sherry Wallace, Shelia Carroll and Leanna Hammack, all of Waynesboro, and Lindsey Hammack of Mt. Pleasant, Tenn.
