Michael Carroll Grimes, 65, of Jonesboro, Ark., died Wednesday, Nov. 11, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center.

Mr. Grimes was retired from Riceland and attended Trinity Church.

He was born in Crump, the son of the late Melvin and Kathleen Jones Grimes. He was united in marriage to Gwen Grimes, who survives.

Services were held Saturday, Nov. 14, at Trinity Church, with Steve Farmer officiating. Burial was in Jonesboro Memorial Park.

In addition to his wife, Gwen, he is survived by two daughters, Tina Adams and Angie Kelley, both of Jonesboro; a sister, Kay Grimes of Counce; and four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

He was also preceded in death by a brother.
