Libby Brashier M.E. "Libby" Brashier, 70, of North Pekin, Ill., a native of Hardin County, died on Thursday, Nov. 12, at her residence. She was born in Hardin County, daughter of the late Edd and Stella Deshazier Hunt. She was united in marriage to Tom Brashier Jr., who preceded her in death. Mrs. Brashier joined Mary Kay Cosmetics in January of 1980 and became an independent sales director in May of 1983 and had worked until November of this year. She was a member of McArthur Drive Baptist Church in North Pekin. She is survived by two grandchildren; five sisters, Anne M. Goodman of Morton, M. Lucille Scott, Betty F. Moser, Estella Franks and Carolyn Hill, all of Savannah; and two brothers, Otis H. and W. Jay Hunt, both of Savannah. Services were held on Monday, Nov. 16, at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel, with Rev. Dr. Bobby E. Barnhill officiating. Burial was in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
