Fern Ryan (11-3-09) services 11-5-09

Fern Ryan, 90, of Saltillo, died Tuesday, Nov. 3.

She was born in Saltillo, the daughter of the late Francis Leslie and Ethel Singleton White. She was united in marriage to Robert R. Ryan, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Ryan was a retired teacher and a homemaker. She attended Pasadena Conservatory of Music and studied piano performance. Mrs. Ryan played the piano at churches, restaurants and school functions. She also studied dance, voice expressions and clarinet.

Services were held on Thursday, Nov. 5, at Saltillo Methodist Church in Saltillo with Gene Davenport officiating. Burial was in the Liberty Cemetery at Decatur County, Tenn.

She is survived by one nephew; three great nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Robert F. Ryan.
