Mary Jane Garrison, 63, of Counce, died Sunday, Nov. 8.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late James Russell and Oneida James Battles.

Services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Josh Stults officiating. Burial was in the White Sulphur Cemetery at Pickwick Dam.

She is survived by a daughter, Jane Fair of Counce; three sons, Dan Morris of Shiloh, Allen Morris and Lee Morris both of Counce; a sister, Sue Martin of Counce; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Sue Marie Garrison and Connie Morris; and a son, Bo Morris.
