Inez Marie Pevahouse Kiddy Burton, 82, of Adamsville, died Friday, Nov. 6

She was born in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Henry Allen and Delia Marie McDonald Pevahouse. She was united in marriage to James Hallie Kiddy, who preceded her in death. She later married Robert Burton who also preceded her in death.

Services were held on Monday, Nov. 9, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Marty Potts officiating. Burial was in the Prater’s Chapel Cemetery at Wayne County.

Mrs. Burton lived most of her life in Clifton.

She is survived by four daughters, Glenda Blanton of Adamsville, Kim Prater of Clifton, Dianne Carter and Judy Cruce, both of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; two sons, Randy Kiddy of Savannah and Tim Kiddy of Clifton; two sisters, Peggy Alley and Wanda Pevahouse; four brothers, Malcolm, Franklin D., Larry and Ronald K. Pevahouse; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Shelia Kiddy; two brothers, Bobby and Carl Pevahouse.
