Bobby Gene Tarrant, 79, of Killen, Ala., former resident of Savannah, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, at his residence.

He was born in East St. Louis, Ill., son of the late John and Mabel Tarrant. He was united in marriage to the former Jeannie Waddell, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Tarrant was a retired baker for Haas Bakery.

Graveside services were held on Thursday, Oct. 29, at the Memory Gardens in Savannah.

He is survived by a daughter, Angelia Everitt of Killen, Ala.; and one son, John T. Tarrant of Counce; four grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Blaylock; a brother, John L. Tarrant; and a sister, Dorothy Tarrant.
