Tommy Hughes Tommy L. Hughes, 57, of Arlington, Tenn., formerly of Walnut Grove community, died Thursday, Oct. 29. He was the son of the late Goodlow and Myrtle Fox Hughes. He was united in marriage to Paula Hughes, who survives. Mr. Hughes was the owner of Hughes Supplied Air in Memphis. He was an usher at Bellevue Baptist Church. Services were held on Sunday, Nov. 1, at Memphis Funeral Home, Germantown Road Chapel. Burial was in Memory Gardens behind the Chapel. In addition to his wife, Paula, he is survived by a daughter, Michelle Williams of Lakeland, Tenn.; a son, Brian Hughes of Arlington, Tenn.; two grandchildren; four sisters, Claudine, Cossey, Sandra Bowles and Teresa Richardson, all of Savannah, and Peggy Robbins of Southaven, Miss.; two brothers, Jerald Hughes of Savannah and Roger Hughes of Battle Creek, Mich.
