J.W. Hanna    J. W. Hanna, 100, of Milledgeville, died Friday, Oct. 30, in Savannah. He was born in Milledgeville, the son of the late Alvin Thomas and Polly Jane Martin Hanna. He married the former Dovie Finley, who preceded him in death. Mr. Hanna was a farmer, and carpenter. He was a member of the Crump Pentecostal Church. He was the minister at the Scotts Hill Pentecostal Church for 27 years. He was the founder of Milledgeville Pentecostal Church. Services were held on Sunday, Nov. 1, at Crump Pentecostal Church in Crump with Gene Hanna, Darren Martin officiating. Burial was in the Milledgeville Cemetery. He is survived by four daughters Sue Ross of Ash Flat, Ark., Joan Patterson, Rossville, Ga., Joy Kirkpatrick, Wellington, Fla. and Wanda Bethune, Bridgeview, Ill.; one son Gene Hanna, Milledgeville; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Earline Adkins, Parsons, Tenn. He was also preceded in death by a son Mike Hanna; three sisters, Ida Crawford, Martha Johnson, Anna Rhea Dyer; and five brothers, Colis, D.F., Ruel, Wilburn and Truman Lee Hanna.
