Wayne Pierce (4-23-09) services 4-29-09

Robert "Wayne" Pierce, 58, of Olive Hill, died in an accident on Thursday, April 23, at his home in Olive Hill. Mr. Pierce lived most of his life in Savannah, Ga., but had run his own lawn care service for 11 years in Hardin County. He attended Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah. Graveside services were held Wednesday, April 29, at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Savannah, Ga. He is survived by his mother, Edith McDonald Pierce; his sister, Cheryl Mattox, his twin sister, Nancy Fuller; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnie L. Pierce; and his younger sister, Vicki Johnson. Memorials may be sent to Abilene Baptist Church, 3917 Wahington Road, Martinez, Ga.
