Travis Leitschuh Sr. (8-28-09) services 8-30-09
Travis A. Leitschuh Sr., 73, of Adamsville, died Friday, Aug. 28, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville.
He was son of the late Alfred W. and Estelle Leitschuh. He was united in marriage to Nancy Copeland, who survives.
Mr. Leitschuh was co-owner of L&L Mechanical Contractors, Adamsville. He was an Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Services were held Sunday, Aug. 30, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Clinton Barnett officiating. Burial was in Pine Hill Memorial Garden, in Adamsville. Arrangements by Sahckelford Funeral Directors of Selmer.
In addition to his wife, Nancy Leitschuh of Adamsville, he is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Lynne Pickens of Selmer; two sons, Travis Jr. of Michie and Jonathan Paul Leitschuh of Adamsville; three sisters, Rena Wilburn of Michagan City, Miss., Martha Stewart of Franklin, Tenn. and Edith Leitschuh of Memphis; three brothers, Willis of Crump, Roger of Adamsville and Jerry Leitschuh of Bolivar, Tenn.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dickey and Leon Leitschuh.
