Tommy Wayne Milligan
was born in Hardin County on Nov. 25, 1954, the son of the late William Thomas and Banta Marlar Milligan.
On Aug. 31, 1974, he was united in marriage to Melindy Ann Gray, who survives.
Mr. Milligan owned his own logging company, Milligan’s Logging. He loved his children and grandbabies. He was a loving father and grandfather. He was a hard worker and good to anyone who needed help.
Mr. Milligan departed this life on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the age of 54 years, 10 months, 1 day.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Chipper Wayne Milligan and his wife Dionn of Michie; a daughter, Brandy Nicole Milligan Turner and husband Andrew of Michie; three brothers, James Milligan and wife Wanda, Billy Milligan and wife Debbie and Randy Milligan all of Michie; two sisters, Janice Smith, Joyce Henry and husband Larry all of Counce; three grandchildren, Curtis Wayne, Chipper John, and Tommy Jack (Flap) Milligan.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Milligan was preceded in death by twin sisters, Carla and Darla Milligan.
Services were held on Monday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Keith Driskell officiating. Burial was in the Center Hill Cemetery at Counce.
